THE FOX

“Not all heroes wear capes. Some carry bolt cutters and have a mom who’s way too comfortable committing felonies”

Jim Phillips never set out to be an outlaw just a high school teacher with a bad poker habit, a soft spot for nature, and a knack for making bad decisions. But in 1970s Illinois, where factory smoke chokes the air and corporate sludge poisons the river, doing the right thing sometimes means breaking the law.

What begins as small-scale sabotage clogging pipes, jamming valves, and leaving behind a cryptic fox insignia quickly escalates into a full-blown war, with cops, corporate enforcers, and half the town hunting him down. Just when Jim is drowning in trouble, Rose, his sharp witted, crossword obsessed mother, stumbles into the mess and grabs a can of spray paint to join the fight.

Inspired by a true story, The Fox is a high-voltage collision of counterculture rebellion, small-town politics, and the world’s most unhinged mother son bonding experience.
